Waterworks Brass

CORPORATION STOPS, CURB STOPS, COUPLINGS, AND ADAPTERS FOR WATER SERVICE LINES — EVERY CONNECTION FROM THE MAIN TO THE METER.

Every water service runs through brass. From the tap at the main to the shutoff at the property line, these are the parts that connect a home or business to the system. We stock lead-free corporation stops, curb stops, couplings, and adapters in the sizes and connection types crews reach for every day, so a new service, a replacement, or a repair doesn’t sit waiting on a part. Tell us the service size, the pipe, and the connection, and we’ll match it.

Materials Available:
Lead-free brass certified for potable water, in compression, pack joint, flare, and threaded (MIP and FIP) connections. Fittings are available for copper, polyethylene, and PEX service pipe in both copper tube size (CTS) and iron pipe size (IPS).

Typical Use Cases:
New residential and commercial service connections, service line replacement — including lead service line replacement programs — meter setting tie-ins, and repairs on existing services.

Technical Considerations:
Service brass is matched by service size, pipe material and outside diameter (CTS or IPS), and the connection on each end. Corporation stops take an AWWA taper (CC) or MIP inlet for direct taps or saddle installs. Our team can match your spec to AWWA C800 and to NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 lead-free requirements.
